The cafe reports from Korean-based vegan blog, Alien’s Day Out couldn’t be more awe-inducing and mouth-watering. The pictures above are just from her one report on Cafe 1010 in the Hongdae neighborhood in Seoul. They remind me of some of my favorite zakka bookstores and cafes in and around Kyoto and Osaka, where ambiance, customer experience, and quality of food and goods are prized. The thoughtful curation of goods juxtaposed with the space of a relaxing cafe is an inspiring sight, and one Omoi takes to heart as we move into the new year.
